IASC is proud to announce that Dr. Emily Osborne will be joining the IASC team as IASC Fellowship Coordinator. In this role, Dr. Osborne will be leading the many tasks necessary to support and continue the success of the IASC Fellowship Program. The IASC Fellowship Program provides the opportunity for early career scientists to become involved in leading-edge scientific activities at a circumarctic and international level, to build an international network, and also to develop management skills. The Fellowship Coordinator is responsible for leading recruitment, organization, community-building, and mentorship for the IASC Fellows.
Dr. Osborne earned her Ph.D. in Marine Sciences from the University of South Carolina in 2016, and has been working with the NOAA Arctic Research Program since 2017 first as a Knauss Fellow and now as a Program Manager.
IASC would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Maja Lisowska of the Polish Centre for Polar Research and the PPC for her many years of dedicated, enthusiastic, and exemplary service as the previous IASC Fellowship Coordinator.
