Screenshot 2022 03 09 at 10.13.54The Biogeochemical Exchange Processes at Sea Ice Interfaces (bepsii.org) Sea-Ice School 2022 will take place at the Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS) in Cambridge Bay, Canada from 14-23 May 2022.

The school targets Early Career Scientists, preferably PhD students, but also Master students and early Post-Docs. Lectures, field and lab work will address basic sea-ice and snow physics, sea ice optics, primary production, carbon cycle, biogeochemistry together with, sea-ice biogeochemical modelling, gases fluxes at the interfaces and life in the North.The school is supported by POLAR KNOWLEDGE CANADA, SCAR, CLiC, IASC and NSF in collaboration with SOLAS and ECV-ice SCOR working group.
