The Environmental Pollution Journal (IF: 6.792) formally accepted the publication of the special issue on Arctic Terrestrial Pollution (including Coastal Areas). This special issue will be edit by João Canário (University of Lisbon, Portugal), Katrin Vorkamp (Aarhus University, Denmark), Mark Mallory (University of Acadia, Canada) and Scott Zolkos (Woods Hole Research Center, USA).

Manuscript Submission will start on December 1st, 2020 and will be open until June 1st, 2021.

About T-Mosaic

​T-MOSAiC is an IASC pan-Arctic, land-based program that extends the activities of the IASC flagship program MOSAiC: ‘The Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate’, MOSAiC is a multinational year-round study (2019-2020) of the central Arctic Ocean to measure the coupling between atmosphere, sea ice, ocean and ecosystem processes.

The objective of the satellite program T-MOSAiC is to coordinate complementary activities that will both aid and benefit from MOSAiC (especially the modelling components) by extending the work to the lands surrounding the Arctic Ocean and to the northern communities who live on those lands.
