The Protection of the Arctic Marine Environment (PAME) working group meeting was held at the Norwegian Environmental Agency in Oslo, Norway 3-7 February 2020. PAME working group focuses on the protection and sustainable use of the Arctic marine environment and provides a forum for collaboration on a wide range of activities in this regard. The aim of the biannual meetings is to assess progress of work, discuss program priorities and develop PAME biennial work plans. The first two days were organized in two workshops and pre-meetings, and the rest of the week was a plenary meeting. 

Françoise Amélineau, 2018 IASC Fellow for the Marine Working Group, represented IASC and attended the first two days of the meeting. She was also involved in the expert group on marine litter on behalf of IASC and followed the activities of the group since 2018.
