IASC’s International Science Initiative in the Russian Arctic (ISIRA) is a Russian and international cooperative initiative to assist Arctic science in the Russian Arctic. To help achieve this, ISIRA collects reports each year from those leading ongoing and upcoming projects, meant to provide an account of relevant projects related to the Russian Arctic.
ISIRA Reports are meant to provide an account of relevant projects related to the Russian Arctic. Such information can help with coordination and connections between those doing research in the Russian Arctic. After a pilot run last year, this year the reports are transitioning to an open Google form. So now, we can solicit reports from the broader Arctic science community, rather than asking ISIRA delegates to be intermediaries.
If you are a leader of an Arctic science project studying the Russian Arctic, we encourage you to take a few moments to please fill out this form. It just might help you find colleagues working in similar areas, connect with possible new collaborators, and provide an overview of what the international science community is studying in the Russian Arctic.
Submit your ongoing & planned Russian Arctic research here: https://forms.gle/7pgNu8DLp28tyL6X8
A preliminary deadline for submission is set at March 27th.
If you would like a non-Google format of the form, please contact the IASC Secretariat.
