The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) was initiated by IASC in 1999 to provide opportunities for coordination, cooperation and collaboration between the various scientific organizations involved in Arctic research and to economize on travel and time. ASSW is now an annual venue for meetings of Arctic organizations, scientific collaborations, and more.
During ASSW2019 there will be three days dedicated to IASC & Arcticcommunity meetings (22 May, 23 May, and 26 May); ASSW2019 will also feature an Arctic Science Symposium. The entire Arctic community is encouraged to use ASSW as a venue for bringing together their organizations, collaborations, and teams. ASSW organizers provide the logistical support and your meeting attendees only have to register for ASSW209 and show up.
Please fill out this form to request a space and we will do our best to accommodate your request. The application deadline is 8 March and a draft program is expected to be ready in mid-March.
