The 23rd International Symposium on Polar Sciences will be held from May 17-18 2017 in Songdo, Incheon (Republic of Korea). The annual conference is organized by the Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI).
The Antarctic Horizon Scan identified, "learning how Antarctic life evolved and survived’ as one of the six most important research questions for the next 20 years and beyond. Polar genomics is also one of the research initiatives KOPRI recently selected to pursue. In this regard, the theme of the 23rd International Symposium on Polar Science is timely set; “Life at the extremes; resilience, adaptation and potential.” The organizers invite you to share your knowledge and understanding towards living organisms in the polar region.
