The Korea Polar Research Institute will host the 21st International Symposium on Polar Sciences in Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea from May 19-20, 2015. The theme of the 2015 symposium is “Polar Region as a Key Observatory for the Changing Globe and Beyond.” The organizers invite all interested researchers to share their knowledge towards the changes in the polar region.
The symposium has been organized every year since the launch of Korea’s Antarctic research program an has served as an international forum for the exchange of ideas and research findings from a bipolar perspective. An overview and preliminary program will be provided on the symposium website https://symposium.kopri.re.kr after January 23, 2015. Abstracts can be submitted from January 26 till March 20, 2015.
