Year of Polar Prediction

The Implementation Plan for the Year of Polar Prediction (YOPP) has been officially released. It is available at www.polarprediction.net/documents.html. YOPP is a key activity of the WMO/WWRP Polar Prediction Project (PPP) and aims to enable a significant improvement in environmental prediction capabilities for the polar regions and beyond, by coordinating a period of intensive observing, modelling, prediction, verification, user-engagement and education activities.
