Stakeholder and scientists are invited to meet in Ilussat Greenland from June 2-5, 2015. The meeting follows up on the succesful Nuuk Climate Days 2009, where cryosphere changes in Greenland were in focus, and more than 150 participants came from Greenland, Europe and the US.
The location of Ilulissat is right next to the biggest outlet glacier on the Greenland ice sheet, and the organizers especially welcome young scientists and ph.d. students to join the meeting, to meet the senior scientists and stakeholders from governments and institutions. Focus of the Ilulissat meeting has been extended to include Arctic Icecaps, as well as sea ice and permafrost changes.
