The Korea Polar Research Institute will hold the 19th International Symposium on Polar Sciences in Incheon, Republic of Korea on October 16-18, 2013.
The theme of the symposium this year is “Toward Better Understanding of Climate Changes in the Arctic”. The main objectives are to examine the causes and of rapid warming in the Arctic and to understand the potential feedback processes observed in the atmosphere, ocean and terrestrial eco-systems.
