IASC is pleased to announce the endorsement of the Polar Educators International (PEI). The IASC endorsement recognizes the partnership with PEI as a valuable asset confirming the legitimacy and capacity of PEI to become a leading organization for polar science education. The scientists, educators, and community members of PEI can add to the IASC goal of “promoting and involving the next generation of scientists working in the Arctic”, as well as sharing research outcomes with a broad public audience in order to “close the gap between science and society”. With the endorsement from IASC, PEI can continue to build momentum for their organization with the support of this esteemed group of colleagues in the polar science community.
