Irkutsk (Listvyanka, Lake Baikal)

Irkutsk National Research Technical University holds the IV Baikal International Scientific Conference / Strategic Session “Snow cover, atmospheric precipitation, aerosols”.

The Conference will be held in the village of Listvyanka situated 

on the shore of the Lake Baikal.

The Conference / Strategic Session is organized for a joint work of representatives of concerned parties with the aim of analyzing and assessing the current situation, identifying problems, developing solutions and a common vision for the development of research on snow cover, precipitation, aerosols. The conference will create an authoritative platform in the Baikal region to increase the level of information exchange between the scientific community and industry.

The official languages of the Conference are Russian and English.

Main directions of the Conference

1.    Methods, tools and methodology of the research of the physical chemical properties and the composition of the snow cover, precipitations and aerosols.

Location of the Conference and accommodation of participants

The official opening of the Conference will take place in Irkutsk National Research Technical University at June 21, 2022. The Conference will work at June 21-25, 2022 in Mayak hotel in Listvyanka village situated at the lake Baikal shore (http://www.mayakhotel.ru/).

The participants are invited to book at the hotel site (http://www.mayakhotel.ru/), with the preliminarily approved discount of 15%. You may choose staying in other hotels of Listvyanka; please book in advance.

Main dates

December 1, 2021 – April 1, 2022  – registration of the participants with oral reports, submitting of the materials for publication on site  http://snow-baikal.tw1.ru/ 

December 1, 2021 – May 1, 2022 – registration of the participants without reports, and of the participants with online reports on site  http://snow-baikal.tw1.ru/

Before May 1, 2022 – participants are invited to transfer a registration fee  to the INRTU account.

June 21, 2022 – registration of participants, official opening of the Conference in INRTU (Irkutsk); transfer Irkutsk (INRTU) – Irkutsk («Заповедное Прибайкалье») – Listvyanka (the Mayak hotel);  opening ceremony of the Conference (the Mayak hotel).

June 21 – June 25, 2022  work of the Conference (the Mayak hotel).

June 25, 2022 – closing ceremony of the Conference, presentation of dyplomas, letters and certificates (the Mayak hotel, Listvyanka).

June 25,  2022 –  transfer Listvyanka - Irkutsk (INRTU)

Condition of participation and the registration fee

Participant with oral presentation, and publication – 20 000 rubles.

Participant with online presentation, and publication – 3 900 rubles.

Participant without presentation, publication – 3 000 rubles.

Participant with online presentation, without publication, with certificate – 900 rubles.

Foreign participants – 700$

The registration fee does not include accommodation, meals, and cultural program.

Publication of the Proceedings of the Conference

Publication materials are accepted in Russian and in English. Publication materials are accepted in docx format. You may find the sample and the publication requirements on the site of the Conference http://snow-baikal.tw1.ru . The authors from Russian Federation and from the Commonwealth of Independent States should present the expert evaluation on open publication in pdf  format. The authors make commitment that the text of the paper is in the final version, contains the reliable information, is not supposed to be revised, and there is no conflict of interests.  

All materials will be peer-reviewed before publication. The submission of the materials is either on the Conference site (http://snow-baikal.tw1.ru) at the registration or by e-mail: snow-baikal-2022@yandex.ru 

The Proceedings will be published before the start of the Conference. The Proceedings will be presented at eLIBRARY.RU, and will be included to scientometric Russian database RRSC. The Proceedings will be given the International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
