The Winter school on Atmosphere-Ocean-Sea Ice Interaction Processes will take place at UNIS, Longyearbyen (Svalbard) on 6-11 February 2022. Application deadline is on 21 November 2021.
The winter school will provide an overview of state-of-the-art theoretical paradigms, observation techniques, and modeling frameworks, as well as forecasting capabilities for atmosphere-ocean-sea ice interactions. Participants will also be introduced to newly obtained data from recent field campaigns (e.g., MOSAiC, IGP).
Through plenary lectures, poster presentations, and extended discussions, participants will be exposed to fundamentals and cutting-edge research in the field as well as given the opportunity to build a community network for their future careers.
