The II Latin Polar Science Workshop will take place 16 April 2026 at Portucalense University in Porto, Portugal, in a hybrid format allowing both in-person and online participation.
The workshop aims to strengthen Latin–European engagement in polar science and promote interdisciplinary dialogue on topics including climate change, governance, infrastructure, and the connections between polar regions and other parts of the world. It will feature keynote contributions from Hanne Brusletto and Élise Racicot, alongside an international honour committee.
While the abstract submission deadline has passed, registration to attend the workshop remains open.
