The Arctic Council Secretariat (ACS) serves and supports the work of the Arctic Council, and in particular the successive Chairships of the Arctic Council. The ACS is currently composed of 14 employees with representation from almost every Arctic state, and is based at the Fram Centre in Tromsø, Norway www.arctic-council.org
The ACS is currently seeking a new Head of Communications. The Head of Communications is responsible for managing and implementing the Arctic Council Communications Strategy, overseeing content development and external relations, supporting the Chairship team in its outreach efforts, leading the ACS’ communications team, providing strategic advice and managing relations with members of the media and the Arctic Council network. The Head of communications is part of the ACS management team and reports directly to the ACS director.
