The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, in partnership with the Istituto Idrografico della Marina, is launching a call for applications for the High North24 campaign, from July 13 to August 10, 2024. The call is open to postgraduate or first-year PhD students.
The call (Extended deadline: June 10th)
An opportunity to embark with the Istituto Idrografico della Marina on the High North24 campaign. For more information on the campaign, check the website.
The candidate will embark on the r/v Alliance on 13 July 2024, in Tromsø, for departure by ship on 15 July, after installing the laboratories. The campaign is due to end in Tromsø on 8 August, with departure from Tromsø scheduled for 10 August, after the laboratories have been dismantled. During the campaign, the candidate will be integrated into the life of a researcher and surveyor and will help to carry out activities focusing on hydrography and seabed mapping.
The candidate will be invited to present their experience of the High North24 campaign at an event in Monte Carlo, Monaco, on 11 October 2024,

How to apply?
If you are…
- A postgraduate student who has not yet started their PhD or a student in their first year of a PhD.
- Available to embark on the High North24 campaign from 13 July (departure from Tromsø) to 10 August (arrival in Tromsø).
- Available to come to Monaco on 11 October 2024,
- You are highly interested in joining the High North24 campaign and are interested in Hydrography and Seabed mapping activities.
Please note that we do not provide visas for travel to Tromsø. You must be able to ensure that you can travel on the dates indicated.
