Members of the European Polar Board will gather in Luxembourg on 22 - 23 November 2022 for its regular plenary meeting. Aligned with the EPB plenary Autumn meeting, the Luxembourg's Polar Program polar.lu and the Arctic Centre (University of Lapland), both members of the EPB, co-organise an event "The Arctic in the center of climate change".
The association polar.lu (www.polar.lu), Luxembourg's network for polar research and advocacy invites to a conference held by a foremost specialist of the Arctic.
Entitled " The Arctic in the center of climate change: The current geopolitical situation and the future of Arctic cooperation"; Dr. Johanna Ikävalko, the director of the Arctic Centre at the University of Lapland in Finland, will present her Centre (www.arcticcentre.org/EN), its research, as well as her analysis of the current situation in the Arctic.
The interested public is invited to attend this free conference, in English, which will take place on 23 november at 18:30 at the "Natur Musée", le Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle (www.mnhn.lu), 25, rue Munster.
