The Bipolar Action Group (BipAG)

The Bipolar Action Group (BipAG) was initiated in 2008 by the Scientific Committee (SCAR) on Antarctic Research and IASC. The Action Group explored options for effective cooperation concerning bipolar issues and the development of mechanisms to nurture the International Polar Year legacy.

2nd Bipolar Action Group on Science Cooperation (BipAG II)

The two-year mandate for BipAG was prolonged in 2010 and the 2nd Bipolar Action Group on Science Cooperation (BipAG II) concentrated first and foremost on bipolar scientific opportunities of cooperation.
